:: Black Thursday
Similar to the push in recent years for Americans to actually purchase American-made products, there has always been a push within the Black community to Buy Black. The idea is not only to support Black-Owned businesses but to also uplift Black communities as a whole. With Black-owned businesses being the underdogs of the business world, it only makes that Blacks, we, support our brothers and sisters; because at the end of the day who knows what WE want better than ourselves? And, luckily, Huffpost's Black Voices, provided a great springboard for doing just that. In their article titled, 36 Black-Owned Etsy Stores For Black Friday, we are given thirty six grand opportunities to support Black-Owned businesses. Focusing primarily on small owned businesses on Etsy.com, we are given an array of options from Black-owned clothing lines, print and art, jewelry design, and so much more all made by the hands of BLACK individuals. Catering to a little bit of everything, one is sure to find something that fulfills their deepest heart's desire.
So, do your due diligence and support.
And, well... Buy Black.
