:: CHAPTER Twenty Six
Before I even knew what, or rather who, it was I needed, God decided that I needed a life-long ride or die. A partner in crime (and in good). A forever best friend. My A1 since day one. And so, He blessed me with my little brother. Needless to say, I have been FOREVER grateful. I truly could not have asked for anyone more than the exact person my little brother is.
So, as per usual, though a tad bit late in getting this post out, I send my little big brother nothing but the warmest of wishes on this next chapter of adulthood. May this twenty sixth year be the best one yet. May you reach all your goals. Kick down any doors shut to you. Move any mountain standing in your path. And just flow through this life with as much ease as possible. May you see a greatness that shines so bright that the world would be a fool to not NOTICE the power of you. May you be the KING this world tries so hard to deny black men. May you be EVERYTHING and then some.
Happy twenty-six years of life little brother. And prayers for many more great years to come your way.
My love for you is boundless.
Love, your sister (and original best friend). —
