:: Because of YOU(th)

Anne Frank once wrote in her diary, “No one has ever become poor by giving.” A deeply rich wisdom from a young soul taken too soon, Miss Frank, as many before and after her, understood the POWER in GIVING. The selfless of selfless acts, GIVING, is, at times, the truest test of one’s character. As another great gem tells us, “Two things define you: Your patience when you have nothing, and your attitude when you have everything.” And if you GIVE, in both instances, when you haven’t much to give but the help your own hands are able to offer and when you have everything to give and then some, it is only fair to assume that it goes beyond just selflessness and kindness. At this point, God is working through you. For He is always GIVING to us. With that said, it is only natural that I share an opportunity to give.

Introducing, the Orlando Minority Youth Golf Association (OMYGA), a non-profit organization geared towards teaching disadvantaged youth the sport of golf. OMYGA’s priority is the YOUTH. Though the core focus is giving young kids an understanding of a sport played by many, it doesn’t stop there. Instilling other key values and skills, OMYGA helps mold the young kids in their program into well-rounded citizens. Teaching them the purpose of leadership, good sportsmanship, and the value of healthy, positive competition alongside giving them moments for mentorship from former students / members of the program, among other qualities. The Orlando Minority Youth Golf Association is truly one of a kind. An organization all about the kids and the success of those kids is more than deserving of endless praise and support. Under the leadership of Dr. T.J. Dorsey and Co., the Orlando Minority Youth Golf Association desires to not only continue to GIVE to the youth for many years to come, but to GROW, even beyond just Central Florida.

It is at this point, where YOU start to play a role. With any non-profit organization, like OMYGA, they are able to thrive with community support. Knowing the POWER in giving, especially the power in giving to our youth, YOU could aid in OMYGA’s long term goals of giving back to disadvantaged youth as well as growing into an organization that can sponsor hundreds of kids from Central Florida and beyond.

To take part in aiding in the Orlando Minority Youth Golf Association’s mission, all donations of any amount can be sent to the following address:

OMYGA c/o T.J. Dorsey, D.D.S., P.A. 708 W. Jackson Street

Orlando, FL 32805

Be sure to include your gratitude for all that this wonderful organization has done for many youths (past, present, and to come). Not only will the team of OMYGA be more than grateful, BUT, most importantly, the young kids in the program will be exceedingly happy and gracious. Remember, YOU are making a difference – no matter how small. It’s still a difference. And that difference can lead to GRANDER opportunities far beyond your own imagination or that of all those involved / affected by your act of bountiful kindness.

Remember, Anne Frank wrote, that giving has never made anyone poorer. The reality is, giving will only ENRICH your soul and the lives of those around you. So, give what you can.

It is all well appreciated.

So, thank you.
